Hey everyone...

It's Friday...one of my favorite days of the week =)

This weekend will be *hopefully* less busy than last weekend.

Tonight, I'm going to go to the movies with my sweetie...I think we're going to try and see "Departed".

Saturday, I will be helping to sheetrock a house in Yonkers for Habitats for Humanity - Westchester.

Sunday, I'm planning on SLEEPING IN!!!

I tentatively don't have any halloween plans this weekend, but that may change depending on what happens...or who calls...

Why oh why...my usual question!

I'm sitting here on the computer...my lovely NEW computer...surfing the internet...basically doing NOTHING...when I should be working on my project. Why you ask? Good question! I wish I could answer that. One part of me KNOWS that I need to do this (aka mail it by tomorrow because it is already a week late!) but the other part of me insists on sitting here and checking my yahoo email, gmail, myspace, livejournal, blah blah blah stuff...and even though I've been on the computer over 4 hours I haven't actually accomplished ANYTHING...well...I did read one article for school, but that only took 10 min of the 4 hours...and see...now I'm rambling and continuing to use improper punctation!

Ah...I just had to throw that out since I'm here...

*off to a hot bath, then work on research*

Tour de Bronx

I've gotta say...now that I've done it...I'm BEAT! I had a lot of fun, but I am exhausted. Yesterday I completed the 25 mile (actually 35 miles since I started in Riverdale) route for the 2006 Tour de Bronx cycling event. It's the largest free bike tour in NYC. It was fun...I got to see parts of the Bronx that I has never been in. We got to ride on the Sheridan Expressway, through St. Raymond's Cemetery and ended up in the Botanical Gardens.

My forearms hurt, my shoulders hurt, my hands, back, butt, and legs hurt too. *Note: my legs hurt b/c I wasn't wearing the proper pants and the gears/petal scraped up against my leg...and I got hit by a couple of people*

One of my friends too some pics...so as soon as I get them, I'll load them up.

I think I would go it again, but I'd def do some things differently!

It also took a LONG time! I left the house at 7:30am...and didn't walk back into my house until 4:45pm! *excluding the time I needed to take Kim back to the subway...I didn't get back to my house until 5:30pm* The major reason I think is because they couldn't shut down the whole Bronx! So they would close off sections at a time, so it was a lot of riding, then stopping, etc...I think we stopped about 6-10 times!!!

All in all it was fun, but REALLY tiring! I didn't expect it to last that long! But I survived...and I'm here at work, so...

Whoo hoo!

I am so happy because I am tired and can't wait to have a day off! And see M without having to RUN home b/c I have to get up at 5am *g*

I'm a little sad b/c I'll miss seeing people that I don't normally get to see b/c they are far away (1-2 hrs away) or REALLY FAR away (4+ hrs).

I am looking forward to sleeping in late this weekend (even though I'm gonna be busy b/c I've got stuff to do this weekend)...and I've got quite a list of stuff to work on...

-Project in COMM 6530
-Scroll prep (I'll be working on some in the near future)
-Visconti Research
-Tent lookout (more later)
-New apprentice project research
-revamp unicorn paper
-clean house (haven't been home in 3 months...)
-make pumpkin bread (it's FALL!)
-make thank you/christmas cards (block printing)
-I'm sure there's more stuff but I can't remember it right now!

Friday the 13th

You know despite the fact that it is Friday the 13th...it's still Friday =) And I am feeling great! My test went well (I think) yesterday...it was better than I thought it would be...and I relaxed at home...watched Chronicles of Riddick...and had a BIG glass of white wine (Late Harvest Reisling by Hogue)...and I was out! I had a good refreshing sleep =) I woke up feeling really good!

so...off to another busy weekend. LAST weekend at CTRF...wish me luck!

poopy day =(

I feel poopy today. I don't feel well...I'm tired...and I have my midterm today after work! I just want to sleep for a month!

But...I can't be completely down. I just bought tickets for me and M for his bithday...I'm taking him to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular...on his birthday =) That should be cool. I took my mom last year and she really liked it. I hope M likes it too.

I also got and email from Dell this morning. It stated that my wireless router is on it's way =) This means that my computer should also be shipping shortly *yipee*

Send me some good energy/prayers/thoughts,etc 'cause I could use all the help I can get today. *thanks in advance*

Good morning!

I hope everyone is well. Today, I am mentally and physically exhausted! My body aches from lack of sleep and other things *g* and my mind is racing from all the things on my To Do List, midterm this weekend and upcoming project.

I'm so tired! I'm yawning as I'm typing this...only one more weekend to work...then done for a few months!

*I'm so tired right now, that I am to tell you LATER about the wedding, 10 year HS reunion and cast party*

P.S. It was GREAT seeing Clodagh and Varus this weekend! Thanks for coming out and visiting guys...I hope you had a nice time =) Sorry I wasn't able to spend much time with you =(

I've gotta say that this week felt incredibly LONG!

But, it's Friday and I'm excited about all the things I'm doing this weekend...

Lunch date with M @ the Bengal Tiger =) Yummy! I'm not eating breakfast!!

4pm today, Erlan is getting married!!! I put out all my garb (I'm wearing Italian Ren) and jewelry...so I'm all ready to go home and get dressed later.

Saturday/Sunday/Monday - I'll be working at CTRF...I think Saturday it might rain, but Sunday and Monday are suppose to be really nice!

Saturday night is my 10 year High School reunion! I can't believe it's been 10 years! All my clothes have been laid out for that as well...BUT I still have to buy footless black tights to go with my dress...um...I will try to do that today.

Then Sunday is the cast party =) Should be fun...I had a blast last year!

And in between all of this I have to try to read some of my textbook since I have my midterm for one of my classes next week =( And I am really behind in that...

Work and play...not too bad a combination for the weekend.

Friday, I am taking a 1/2 day from work. I'm suppose to meet M for lunch...we are going to the Bengal Tiger for an Indian buffet *yummy* I can't wait!

Friday at 4pm...Erlan is getting married! It's up in Nanuet...and Renaissance garb is requested...so I'm pulling out the Italian Ren and accessories tonight (gosh I haven't seen those shoes in a LONG TIME).

Saturday, I'll be at faire during the day...hopefully the weather will be agreeable.

Saturday Night is my 10 year high school reunion (Cardinal Spellman HS in the Bronx). I'm really looking forward to this =)

Sunday *I know I'm driving ALOT this weekend*, I'll be at faire again during the day.

Sunday evening is the CTRF cast party!

Monday is Columbus day and I'll be at CTRF.

So I have a very busy and hectic weekend ahead of me! I better get my extra zzz's in now =)

computer blues =(

You know, I never realized how much I miss my computer (not using it, not seeing it, not being able to check imdb.com for something) until it's gone. My computer crashed last week...and I thought that I could get it fixed last weekend...and now I am hoping to have it by this weekend. In the meanwhile, I feel LOST.

So I am looking into possibly getting another computer...and at work I get a discount if I buy a Dell, HP or IBM. So...I've been looking and I am thinking about the Inspirion E1505.

Any thoughts?

I'm basically going to use it to do homework (Microsoft Office [which I have a full version of]), photos, website stuff, internet...and that's basically it...and iTunes. So I started with a version that's basic, but has at least 1Gig memory and 120 GB HD...wireless, etc.

Weekend Update...

To sum it up...it has potential. The new faire site is lovely (I've been there before for an SCA event) and we have had record patron numbers!

So I was at my first weekend of CTRF this weekend...

Friday
I was late! I went out of Thursday night with M =) We had a really nice time...cozy pub for dinner and a few beers...then Coldstohne Creamery =) Yummy!

I got home around midnight...and I had packed everything the day before...so I was good. BUT I woke up Friday morning to RAIN *damn*

Got in the car...and hit traffic! People driving 35 mph in the rain! I was suppose to get there around 8am...I got there at 8:45! The day itself was ok...I did a bit of henna...but at 11am...it started to POUR! Ice Cold rain with high winds...I thought my tent was going to blow away. I stood in the rain for 20 min...and got soaked to the bone! When it subsided...I packed everything up and as I was done (around 12:30-1pm) the sun came out!

oh well...I went back to Clodagh's house...took a hot shower...did a little shopping...took a NAP (much needed) for a couple of hours, then went to Japanese for dinner =) Then I tried to work on some homework...but then Jenness, Eilis and Joe showed up...and we chit chatted, and I helped Jenness wrap up her documentation for her Coronation project. Then everyone went to bed...and I stayed up until almost 2am finishing my homework!

Saturday
I got to the site...things are pretty dry (compared to Friday) and I had a pretty good day doing henna! I believe we had a record number of people come through the gate (3600)...which was awesome!

I also found out that LEIGH ANN is selling her fabulous pottery at faire! She does awesome work! I bought two mugs from her =) And Jeramiah was there, Maya, Angus and Ankara! I was so great seeing them all =)

Saturday night...I went back to Clodagh's house...took a nap...and OVERSLEPT and forgot to pick up Jacquie from Target! BAD GINA!!! I felt horrible...when I woke up (at 11:35pm and I was suppose to pick her up at 11pm) it was her getting home! Her co-worker dropped her off! I Feel awful! Then everyone got home from Coronation and I heard all about it...I missed a lot of fun =P

Sunday

Went to work in the rain while everyone was still asleep =(

Sunday was miserable! It rained ALL DAY! I did get to visit with a lot of people and I was better off than some...I had an opportunity to visit more with Leigh Ann. I'm so proud of her!!! She gave me a few pieces of pottery...and I dropped on of them (The MOST GORGEOUS one of course! and I felt so bad!)...I went back to her and asked her if she could make me another one!

All in all Sunday was a bust! Thank goodness I did decently on Saturday.

It was a long day though...I drove back to my house (b/c I forgot to pack clothes for work today) and dropped off some stuff)...and then I drove back to my parent's house...and I was in bed after 11pm!

What a long weekend!

Congrats again to Lucan and Yana on their Coronation...I hope they liked the gifts...and I hope we (Michel's apprentices) did a good job with our presentation of the Unicorn tapestries. I saw what Eilis, Demi and Clodagh did...they were FABU!
