Procrastinatimg once again...

I'm tired and all I can think about are my sheets (my brand new tee-shirt sheets) on my soft comfy BED...that's chanting "GINA come to sleep...we are soft and lovely and ready for you"...yeah I know I'm whacked if I hear my bed talking to me. Exhaustion is setting in after a long day and I'm BEAT.

I've got 75/195 questions done on the Statistics test...and the Professor actually gave us until March 8th (which I'm going to need now) but I also have my Law Brief due on March 8! So much for getting a head start...

Anyway...the reason I'm so tired...aside from all the homework I've been TRYING to do...I have this huge work project that I'm working on. And today I went to the Law Department at Headquarters today and spent 5 hours talking to lawyers and looking through 60+ years worth of laws, regulations and tarriffs looking for relevant information for my project. The verdict..."you can pay someone to do this for like $250" one person said...or "you really need to go to Albany and look at the public records...sleep over...there's a lot of data so it may take you a day or two". Am I missing something here? Then one person said to me "WHAT? I don't understand the question." I said...I'm looking for the PSC code and our companies specifications...how have they changed over the years and how strict are our specifications in relation? He said..."You should really ask to narrow this down, it's too much information to compile in a month" And this is my part time project aside from my FULL TIME job and part time school and part time LIFE. BUT I can't complain...really...I've had fun doing this research and I'm learning a lot (which I suspect was the whole point of the project, rather than the actual end product).

So tired....

I am completely exhausted and am waiting for 10 more minutes before I leave work! I got stuck out on a manhole fire yesterday and was at work until 12:30am this morning! Yup...17 hrs yesterday...AND I missed my yoga class yesterday.

It was actually pretty interesting...seeing how the incident command system works in full swing...BUT it was really cold yesterday and I could have done without all the outdoor exposure!

Anyway...hope everyone else's Monday and Tuesday was better than mine.

60/195 questions done...will be working on that tonight!

In my copious spare time, I want to go to the Harvard Museum of Natural History and see this exhibit!

Cool, huh!

Ah...btw...I think I've only done about 45 or so questions on my 195 question midterm!

But my laundry (all 3 loads) are almost done! And I went to the gym...and I went grocery shopping and made breakfast/lunch for the next 3 days!

And as soon as my laundry is done...I'm hitting the sack =)

One more thing...

Of course I'm procrastinating! 195 questions...I feel like taking a nap already. I've only completed 15 questions in the past 1/2 hour...as I was skimming the whole test.

Ah...I'm kinda off schedule...should be looking at the law topics now...and still working on the midterm...I'll get to it...

you know what I'm about to say...

I'm a little overwhelmed with the amount of things that I need to get done ASAP. I have a list (what else is new?) and I really need to stick with it. So I apologize ahead of time if I haven't called you, emailed you, etc. in the past couple weeks.

This is where I'm at:
- HUGE project due for work assigned by the VP - still in the research stages...don't have much done on paper yet!

- 3 (I think) scrolls due in the next month...really need to get a handle on what I'm doing with these...

- 195 question (yes you heard me right) midterm due THURSDAY!!! for statistics...I repeat...what CRACK is this teacher smoking! This is the main focus on this weekend's effort!

- 5 page Law brief due March 8. Still need to figure out a topic though!

- 30 page Law Project due March something? got the topic...need to do research!

- Statistics Project (no specs given out yet...hopefully it won't be due for another couple of weeks).

- need to get 3 gifts...2 weddings and 1 bar mitzfah (sp?)

UM...I have to say...I am proud of myself because the last 2 days I cleaned my house so at least that's something that I don't have to think about for a while...

I am still trying to go to the gym 3+ days a week. I went this morning and I'm planning on going tomorrow morning.

AND...I've just got to do LAUNDRY tomorrow. I need clean thermals because I'm suppose to be snowboarding next weekend (in Wyndham - local to me...so NO...I'm not going anywhere exotic AGAIN *s*)

Oh...next week I'm teaching a few workshops at my friend's high school. One on henna (history and demo), one on bookbinding, one on medieval life...and one on scrolls and the role of the scribe =) Cool huh! How come they didn't do this kinda stuff when I was in school =P

ok...that's it for now...I've got to go do some work!

I just wanted to share with you a saying that I am doing my best to live by:

I'm back! I had an AWESOME time in Quebec this past weekend. 4 days of snowboarding!!! And...for the very first time...I went night skiing! It was so awesome!

Picture perfect Colorado...it was lovely...the weather was GREAT...high 50s to 60s...clear blue skies as you can see...and 50s on the mountain while we were snowboarding! It was awesome!

I am missing it already...I think it's the combination of friends, good times, lots of alcohol, beautiful weather and SNOWBOARDING that can make me say these things =)



So much to write...so little time...am swamped at work again so I don't really have the time to dwell on these happy memories as I'd like.

Hopefully I'll have time to write more before my next trip! I've got a few pics...and many happy memories to share...oh...and I still have to fill you'll in on Fleurida!!!

I'm alive!

I just wanted to throw that out there.

Yes...there were tornados near us, but we were blessedly ok. It rained and was "chilly" for Florida, but we are all in one piece. I've been slammed at work today, so I can't really elaborate on the trip at the moment...just know that there's much to report back...and I have tons of pics...and so does everyone else =)

Also, just letting everyone know that my friend Karl is also a blogger and I've linked to him. Check out his blog when you get a chance.

I'm so excited I am practically bouncing off the walls!

Just letting you'll know I updated my scribal blog a bit. I have a ton of stuff to add, but I wanted to share some scrolls that went out this past weekend.

Here's a pic of Sorcha and Petra with their AOA's. Petra LOVED hers and couldn't stop looking at it! It was a great feeling to see her get it and know that she loves it (she attacked me with hugs in the bathroom!)
