Yesterday and today...

I feel like doing alot of nothing...but I am slowly motivating to take things slow and start organizing my world soon. I'm very proud of myself because yesterday I:

-cleared the foyer, which doesn't sound like much, but it had my snowboarding equipment everywhere as well as all my clothes from my ski trip...so now I can walk in the door and not trip on everything!

-I did laundry on Monday...put some of it away, and hope to finish today.

-half packed for my trip this weekend and need to also finish that either today or tomorrow.

-finished the scarf for my cousin (shades of brown) and want to start some more as well (head start on Christmas sounds good...and I had thought about selling stuff on etsy, but I'll revisit that after graduation!

-I budgeted time to play my PS2 yesterday =) GH3 for nearly an hour!

-I am officially HOOKED on fluff friends on Facebook. I spent nearly 3 hours online feeding, petting and racing my monkey! Am I crazy or what? It's all good b/c I was having fun =P

Gosh...I love doing nothing =)

I still have to figure out what class I'm going to teach at the BBM EKU! Just one more thing to add to my list.

I think I slept on my wrist the wrong way b/c it hurt this morning when I got up and I've been wearing an ace bandage all day on it to keep it steady. It's helped a lot, but when I tried taking it off...it was still a little tender. Ah well...I hope it clears up before this weekend!!!

Switching seasons?

What's up with the wonky weather? One day it's a blizzard, then rain, then 45 and sunny, then cold and crisp, then snow again? I wish it'd either just stay cold...or stay warm. The up and down is playing games with my head!

I had a nice relaxing (kinda) weekend. I pretty much stayed in...and worked on my test...YES...I stayed in and studied, researched, slept in late =) It was a change from my normal routine and it was quite rejuvinating.

I'm pretty happy with myself because after not going to the gym for over a month (between travelling and just working late) I finally got to the gym 2 days last week...and I'm planning on leaving soon and going tonight. Then there's the tentative plan to go on Wed & Thurs. Then Friday, I leave for WA to see H and company and go SNOWBOARDING.

I didn't stay in all weekend...did get a chance to hang out with my bf and his friends Saturday night...stayed out way too late...and even made tentative plans to go snowboarding again, before the season ends, at Thunder Ridge in Patterson, NY. Anyone ever been? I looked it up and it's only 45min or so from me!

So...getting my head into school and trying to get everything set for graduation in May.

To do list is long, but I did finish that scarf I made for my cousin for her birthday...I'm going to mail it to her tomorrow.

-Still thinking about the AD&D game...a friend wants me to run a game for a bunch newbies (one shot deal) so I have a few pre-made games "Dark Sun"...that I might just do that to get a feel of running a game...then continue to work on my world for my normal AD&D group.

-I want to teach a class at the BBM EKU. I just am not sure of the topic as of yet. Do something I've done before or something new that I had written up? Still thinking about it.

-trying to get in as much snowboarding as possible before it gets warm *g*

-need to organize/clean house....I'm just never there. It's on the list...just don't know when I'm going to get to it.

There's tons more that I can ramble here about, but I'll stop now. I've got to go to the gym! It's paying off b/c I lost another 4 lbs!

Guess what?

I think I may have discovered what I want to do with myself once I finish school! If you know me, you know that I always have a long list of things to do...like many people I'm sure...but here's the thing...I've been thinking about this for a LONG TIME...and now may be the time to cash it in.

Become a DM and run a monthly game!

AD&D - 2nd edition for now...haven't even looked into 3rd or 4th yet. But I have this world that I have notes on...I've been working on it on and off over the past 5 years. And I just had more ideas pop into my head for some other stuff...so I'm seriously thinking about it.

Any ideas/thoughts/questions?

I'm ready to hear what people have to say...so let me have it.

THE WORLD'S SHORTEST FAIRY TALE!

THE WORLD'S SHORTEST FAIRY TALE!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'

The girl said: 'NO!'

And the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping, dancing,
camping, drank martinis, always had a clean house, never had to cook,
did whatever the hell she wanted, never argued, didn't get fat,
traveledmore, had many lovers, didn't save money, and had all the hot water to
herself. She went to the theater, never watched sports, never wore
friggin' lacy lingerie that went up her ass, had high self
esteem, never cried or yelled, felt and looked fabulous in sweat pants and was
pleasant all the time.

THE END

WOW! I haven't played in so LONG, but...

I Am A: True Neutral Human Sorcerer (5th Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-13

Dexterity-12

Constitution-13

Intelligence-15

Wisdom-16

Charisma-16

Alignment:
True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. They have no books, no mentors, no theories just raw power that they direct at will. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. Since sorcerers gain their powers without undergoing the years of rigorous study that wizards go through, they have more time to learn fighting skills and are proficient with simple weapons. Charisma is very important for sorcerers; the higher their value in this ability, the higher the spell level they can cast.
