I'm back =)

To work that is, but I'm in a very good mood b/c I've had a great couple of days =) AND I'm going to be on vacation for most of the month! I'll be here until Tuesday 12/5...then 12/6 I'm going to be on a plane heading east...VERY EAST! I'll be back to work on 12/19...then off to Florida 12/21 to 12/24!

So I'm basically in vacation mode...and I need to buckle down and:
1) PACK!!!
2) STUDY! I have a test due while I'm away, but I've got to take it early! (Tuesday 12/5) so I need to study this weekend *drat*
3) tie up loose ends...which I did some of them yesterday, like go to the bank, go to the post office and put my mail on hold, etc.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Today, I leave you with a picture of my friend Liz's beautiful daughter, Isabel.

Sister weekend

Pic from here.

I had a great weekend! Some of my apprentice sisters came over and we hung out all weekend! We got to catch up with one another...talk about upcoming projects and just spend time with one another (which is hard sometimes because there are so many of us and we all live in different states!). But we managed and we got to go so a few museums on Saturday. Poor Laura's feet were killing her! And we got to buy a bunch of awesome BOOKS!

Yeah for books!

Thanks to Laura, Jenness and Heather for making it such a special weekend...and for all the fabu birthday gifts! Thanks ladies!

We missed our other sisters and Laurel...Michel, Fygen and Caoilfhionn! We have to ALL get together one day soon!

Much love to everyone! Have a great week =)

Almost...

(from here)

done! I finished with my FedEx case, but didn't touch the research project!

AH!!!

Why is it so hard to motivate?

I did feel accomplished and I am VERY WELL RESETED (I guess I needed that too). I watched some TV Friday night, and fell asleep on the couch! Then I got up this morning, and I went to the gym! (YEAH ME!) and then came home...made lunch...watched a little TV and finished my case...I just emailed it to my group.

Tomorrow...Gym in the morning (is my plan), then off to Denise and Rick's house for the Silverhorde meeting...then back home for my conference call with my group...then dinner with M =)

So...not too bad of a weekend!

Can I tell ya that turkey tacos are AWESOME =)

Me, Kim and Tony

Kim and me

Me, Keith and Kim

Rainy Thursday morning...

I'm here at work...looking out the window...I'm tired!

And it's not because I didn't get enough sleep...it's just that this weather drains all my energy...and I would rather be sleeping, then being here.

I've had a busy morning already...and there's so much left to do!

1) Read and answer Fed Ex Case Study
2) Finish project and type it all up.
3) Conduct interviews for class between today and next Monday.
4) Work on Castle research
5) Work on Scroll
6) Study for MGMT midterm
7) Do COMM homework
8) Book room for Birka (or figure out who I can share a room with!)
9) GO TO GYM TODAY!!!! Yoga class at 4:30pm!
10) Fill up my scribal blog with scrolls and documentation (which involves looking for the original write up etc...and in this process is helping me organize my scroll count from this past year!)

And...well I have a ton more things on my To Do List, but these are the most important ones at the moment.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good luck with surgery tomorrow Michel! Love ya!!

FYI

Just thought I'd let you'll know that I started a scribal blog...

*because I could*

check it out...leave me comments...

*can you tell I love this BLOG thing!*

Hump Day

Thank goodness it's hump day! Now I'm not trying to rush the week (completely - as I have a TON of things on my To Do List that have yet to be addressed), but it has been a really LONG week from a work/school perspective so I am looking forward to the weekend.

I do not think I'll be going to Crown. Here are some reasons why:
1) It's in NH
2) That's a LONG way to drive by myself
3) I have a 6pm conference call for my group project
4) I need the weekend to work on my 2 projects and case study due Monday
5) I need to study for my MGMT midterm for sometime next week
6) I don't feel like driving so far
7) I would never get out of there early if I went...and I have to be home by at least 4pm on Sunday!
8) I haven't even started the case study and it would be unlikely that I would work on it at all if I went
9) There is a Silverhorde household meeting on Sunday at noon 15 min from my house.
10) Did I mention that I don't feel like driving?

Ah well...I will def miss seeing everyone, but this school thing is a pain in my ass!
