Something cool that Xerox is doing.

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them.

Birthday picture update...

so I didn't get that many YET, but here's a nice one I wanted to share:

iPod update

It's not DEAD! It just tricked me! I tried resetting it over the weekend while I was in Florida and it didn't work! I almost bought a new one, but I held out. Thank goodness I did...I went home last night and I plugged it into the charger and left it overnight. I tried it this morning...and it worked!

WHOO HOO!!!!

So...I still would like a new iPod, but I don't NEED one...so I will hold off =)

I'm bummed =(

My iPod is dead! I had with me at work (I use it nearly everyday) and I borrowed my co-worker's charger...(it was about 3/4 empty) and after 40mins...this battery icon with a caution exclamation point came on and now it won't charge...it won't play music...NOTHING! What am I going to do? I am about to get on an airplace (going to see my grandfather) and I won't have my music!

First I am going to try charging it at home and PRAY that this is a fluke.

But if that doesn't work...my options are...
1) replace the battery (again) for $79 + S&H +tax = $100 dollars later...it's cheaper to buy a new one!
2) recycle this one...and get 10% off a new iPod.
3) do nothing...

CRAP! I've had this iPod (3G) since 2003...I had the battery replaced in 2004 or 2005.

WTF!!!!
