Excerpt from Djinn's weekly newsletter:
As a young independent republic, Slovenia pursued economic stabilization and further political openness, while emphasizing its Western outlook and central European heritage. Today Slovenia plays a role on the world stage quite out of proportion to its small size. This week we're featuring one of Slovenia's most treasure exports, Ksenija. In addition to the Slovenian representation we'll have more dancers then people who live in Brad's hometown of Kalamazoo plus our special guest musician, Satoru, on trumpet.
Special Guests
Our co-host, Kaeshi
Ksenija
Cherrelle Davis
Sherry Paris from Philly
Masumi (her last performance in NYC before she moves back to Japan)
Mahalat and Erel
Sandra Reina
Brad's students Jullissa, Marjorie, Gina and Kaeshi
Satoru on trumpet
