Tired isn't even the word

It has been exactly 23 days since I've been on the night shift (7pm-7am).  I've been off 3 of those 23 days...12+ hours a day...until our union work force is back.  This is getting a little tiring.  My body is still not used to this crazy schedule and I am sleeping...I have also been eating quite a bit and am starting to feel a bit sluggish!  I did run two times last week and went to yoga three times last week, but I don't think I'm going to be able to get as much done this week.

First, my great Aunt Gwen is in the hospital (she's 91 years old) and my parent's aren't going to be around, so I need to go to my parent's house to pick up my grandmother and take her to the hospital to see her sister.  On top of that, I'm not taking a day off until next Monday...which will make me more tired come the weekend.  On top of that, I've got a hundred and one things to read up on and write for my coop...did I mention that I'm now the Board President.  There are a lot of things that aren't written down that need to be.  The new Board has a lot of work cut out for them.

There are some pros to this night shift.  I was able to go to the beach one day last week.  I hope to be able to do that again soon.  I'm not really a beach person, but it's nice...gives you the "summer feel".

I am really excited about a couple of things...and I'm sorry if this is random banter for someone that doesn't know me ;)

#1 - I'm dating a new guy...and it's awesome!  It's still really early...brand new...but it feels good...and so right...and I don't want to jinx it, but I see a lot of potential ;)

#2 - I bought my very first Mac!  I've been a PC person my whole life, but I have been having a lot of issues recently with my PC and it's very frustrating!  The current laptop that I have is about 3 years old...maybe 4 and it's so slow, takes forever to defrag...can't back up things because it doesn't have the latest software, etc. and I've spoken to a few people that have been giving me the pros and cons for going to an Apple.  Well...the icing on the cake was that my company gives a discount on Apples *and* I found a refrubished one for nearly $500 off!  It was basically a little more expensive than what I would have spent on a new PC.  So I said...what the heck!  It arrives on Thursday!!!

ok...back to work...just wanted to give an update.  There's been lots going on.
